Grass Eating
Answers the question why dogs eat grass and how to stop a dog from eating grass:
Grass Eating is common amongst Flat-Coats. Most dogs will be partial to a bit of grass now and again, which is seen to be normal behaviour. Grass eating does not do the dog much harm, though some will vomit afterwards or may have diarrhoea. It is thought that a dog will eat grass when it needs fibre. Most dogs eat a carnivorous diet with little fibre, though some dog foods now contain adequate fibrous content.
Whilst my four legged companion sat beside me I wrote a book which tells the story of The Drummer Boy
. This novel is about the ghost of a Gordon Highlander Drummer Boy from the Battle of Waterloo who haunts a modern day army nurse.
Chapters take place in modern day Aberdeen, at the Noose & Monkey bar and restaurant as well as His Majesty’s Theatre and Garthdee. Other scenes take place at Tidworth and during the Napoleonic War.
